"CASE" .....

Well today I am just posting some cards I have made by following / copying / caseing the gorgeous Valentine's card that Robyn made for her boyfriend. CASE is a term used by Stamin Up and it means Create and Share Everthing. It's a great philosophy and means that a lot of demo's can find quick inspiration when they have lost their "mojo". People often tweak the original idea, which then kind of makes it a little of their own, but we shouldn't be embarrassed to "case" after all isn't there a saying that goes something like "imitation is the best form of flattery" .....

Training Swaps ....

We had a wonderful day today with an all day training event organized by my upline Julie Kettlewell. As well as training, tips and Stampin Up updates, of course we were able to spend some time crafting. A big part of the day was that 44 Demonstrators were there and we all made swaps for one another from the fabulous products in the current annual and mini spring summer seasonal catalogues, and the Sale-a-Bration brochure. I'm sure i will be able to share a lot of them with you in time, but here is one of the swaps that I made. I say one because I got a little board of making one design and ended up making three LOL.

Honeycomb emboss ...

Well as you can see it is a little over a week since i have blogged and this is because i have had a cheeky little holiday away from the snow here in Yorkshire :) As I haven't had any time to craft but wanted to share samples of the new gorgeous Spring/Summer seasonal, i have "borrowed" this photo from my lovely stampin up mummy's blog (Julie Kettlewell). Julie is amazing and if you need inspiration, she manages to post a card almost every day on to her blog The papers are the Tea for Two papers, there is a little bit of stamping in the form of the sentiment on this one, along with the chevron background
